Are Bike Lifts A Pain In The Arse?

  1. That garage is wider than mine. Quite a bit wider. Im jealous.

  2. Wait until you walk into the bike ramp bench. ... they don't move.
If you want to have a look at the options you are welcome to have a look at ours

  3. I’ve got the same as android. Brilliant piece of kit and space saving too. I lift my bike with mine, lock it and stuff all sorts of shite underneath. They allow you to make double use of the floor space they sit on. Plus cleaning and maintenance become a pleasure at desk height.
Get one. I promise you won’t regret it.

  4. It's at least 2' wider than a 1960's single garage

  6. If ground clearance is a problem, you could always dig a trench so that the lift sits flush with the floor when it’s down

  7. Dig a trench? I'll just fall in it all the effing time. Like Uncle Albert.

  8. Not if the lift is in it flush with the floor you won’t

  9. Actually that's a brilliant idea as it would easily allow safe single loading by preventing it from moving away from you as you load (leave it lads).

  10. You'd need extra access for the pump peddle.

  11. And double the length if he gets a car in too :)

  12. Another advocate of the Abba Sky Lift - the benches are good if you like throwing tools all over though. I have one for working and one for tarting about with :)

  13. What's the Vespa? I had a '74 Sprint Veloce 150 and have been kinda hankering for another... for some reason. My existing kitchen chairs are clearly not fun enough.

  14. I got a Constands one... tbh it's alright but the Abba that @Exige has looks better.
