Good day at Cadwell today with NL, shakedown with the new engine in and just getting back in the grove for the session. Bit wet initally but dried out nicely.
Big shout out to @t3scn what a gent.....came and found me to apologise for cutting me up...........on the paddock entrance Was a good day
The bike was better than I hoped it would be. It's like riding a 600 with massive power. I just rode it as it was with no adjustment to suspension and it felt fantastic. The standard ohlins is very good. The gearbox was really smooth and I could easily use 1st gear on the slower corners when needed. By day 3 the traction was becoming quite intrusive on setting 4/8 so I'll reduce it for next time out. Anti wheelie was on minimum but was needed as the bike caught me out with a big wheelie on the start finish straight in 4th gear. My mate had a go on the last day and is now on the hunt for one for himself, after 10 years on his old bike, which says it all really.
Me too! I've had an RSV4 for 2 weeks and sadly only commuted to work on in dude to the shite weather!! I'm doing the national circuit on the 14th anyone else there??
Wow lucky Bugger .. I think the 14th is still the national... but a nice easy layout for my first outing of the year on a new bike
