Yup hide it !! I'm moving files to areas where my stuff can't be poached ... Streamlining files .. Also time to look at setting up on my own a bit and testing the water this year
Made some curry popcorn t'other day - bloody excellent - so I took what was left to work, to try out on some unsuspecting punters. Today's site was the British Council in Trafalgar Square, and an office full of delightful ladies...It went down a storm, so much so I've been invited to lunch with them tomorrow!
Went for a run only to find my garmin watch failed half way round so couldn't get all the correct data, good news is I am currently injury free for my race on Sunday.
Today I thought Xmas had returned talk about panic buying just because snow is on the way. Challenged a meat thief and told him to pay up for his piece of expensive beef I'm a couple days late i have sold Lucy SS on Tuesday she has gone to Cornish dukes house Roll on Spring time whoop
Reckon you might have pulled, there, Fig ;-) btw, "curry popcorn" - fancy sharing the recipe, sounds interesting? pete
Worked through lunch again, tried to pin down the person Whose presentation I had spent the day working on...to no avail grrr? BAsically didn't stop all day whilst the rest of the office concerned themselves over tomorrow's weather, and studying the sky through the window because if so much as a flake fell they were off home.
Sure - Buy some popping corn and make it yourself, the popcorn needs to be hot for the ingredients to stick. About half a cup of popping corn will make plenty. Heat some veg oil in your biggest saucepan, thrown in a couple of corn kernels, when they pop throw the rest in and put the lid on, when they start popping shake the pan rigorously until the popping stops, other wise they'll burn. As soon as they're done pour over about 50g of melted butter, then add the following and toss to coat. 1 teaspoon garam masala 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon turmeric 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Job done. They taste bloody delicious
Sounds lush Fig! Yesterday we snowboarded over towards Switzerland then back towards Les Gets. Had a fantastic lunch of vegetable soup with a sausage in it , which sounds horrible but was gorgeous. Also had a couple of glasses of merlot which made the trip back to Morzine interesting. It was also very very cold yesterday and not pleasant on the lifts. Today is our last day so I'm hoping to spend some time in the fun park. I like doing the jumps and rails. Then this afternoon we'll be picking up the two young kids that have been in ski school all week and we'll ride with them for the remainder of the day. Weather looks as though it could be nice too
Woken to snow and school closures and excited kids well one is the other wants to go to school I shall be serving the masses as they flock to strip the shelves :-/
Oh I'm up....I wake up for work even when I'm off. Its just too early to do owt....don't think anyone would appreciate me clearing the snow or starting the bike, just yet.
