They work, 100% nothing wrong with them - Just you can hear that the TPS is out etc. As I need to richen up the mixture anyway I will end up going back to the Originals but that won't be for 6 weeks or so and in the meen time I'm keeping the bike running. Then I'm going to mess with either the lambda sensor or the air temp sensor so as to richen the mixture a little to smooth out the low end. Thanks for the offer though
Tidying up ....... Mrs W has been away in the states for a week with Work so me boy and dogs have been fending for ourselves
Just tried out my new Torque driver on the 1098 rear wheel: 1 second and it was loose (although I don't know for sure how tight it was, I expect it was torqued correctly knowing where it was put together) Brilliant bit of kit, I was going to get the Clarke cordless one but they were out of stock - then realised my new drill had the batteries this needs so I only had to buy the body. They do one that has 1700Nm of loosening torque too, but that might have been a bit OTT and had a 3/4 drive which wouldn't fit my sockets... Ordered yesterday and picked up from Screwfix today, v. pleased...
Bugger chiz, I wouldn't be sleeping until the acrows were out, there could be some flex in the steels when they're removed. Steve
You gave me an idea there my son has Makita drills and a few batteries. Edit, Not cheap £190 and without charger/battery,Clarks one is back on the list for me,
After using the scooter earlier in the week and surviving "Dieselgate" I went to use it on Wednesday morning to be confronted with a flat tyre. So off into the garage this morning with the intention of taking the tyre off and repairing a puncture correctly from the inside that I had previously plugged. Anyway, I spend 30 mins removing a side panel, exhaust, rear shock mount, axle plate and wheel. Get some soapy water out and brush all over to find out where the leak is. It turned out to be passing the valve core. Replace with a new one and it's as good as new. I could however have done that whith the wheel in the bike.
Im back in the office after a weekend at http://www.flattrackschool.co.uk/main/ I had one of the best weekends of my life. Brilliant fun. I heartily recommend it. I ache to fuck and only fell off once. I was literally belly laughing all day. Its amazing how much fun you can have on 100cc hondas. They guys there were brilliant. What a hoot. Its amazing value for an amazing day. Great lunch too in the Bottle & Glass in Normandby. Great biker pub with TT memorabelia. We stayed here http://www.croxtonhousebedandbreakfast.co.uk/ Lovely place with lovely warm people. We walked in blizzard arctic conditions to http://www.marrowboneandcleaver.com/ And staggered back in horizontal snow, pissed as farts after a great meal, great beer and a good chat with Ian Martin. Guys dad. What a nice chap he is. Warm, chatty and funny. Lovely bloke. Brilliant pub. Drove back, fortunately in a 4x4, through the most atrocious conditions Ive ever been in a car. Drifting snow. it was bedlam. But the whole thing added to the adventure. All in all a great advert for Lincolnshire. But I knew that as I married a Lincs lass 27 yrs ago. Do the flat track school. Its a blast. We're going again and probably again and again...
Just had a spur of the moment madness and bought tickets for the Catalunya round of the MotoGP at Montmelo in June. We’ve got BSB at Brands in April and Almeria in May so June was looking a bit quiet. What the hell, you can’t take it with you Andy
I have been looking into this as i'm having problem's now with a couple of bike's,but i have a compressor so i thought maybe a air gun from ebay, what do you think
I haven't got an air compressor and tank but will be getting one soon. For ease I thought this was the best option, it is then portable and I can easily use in my dining room in winter
I told the wife this morning, that I'd had sex with another woman. "Can you repeat that for me?" she shouted "Sure can, I'm seeing her again tomorrow night"
After this morning's cyber attack I thought the rest of today would be a breeze. No such luck. Just had a call from my youngest brother to say that my mum is very poorly. I fear this is the beginning of the end.
