Where were we, oh yes. Just out of interest is you Civic an EP3 or one of the newer ones? I got a 2004 EP3 Type R, but if I had to change it for another hatch R33 Golf, no scrap that Clio V6 355. oh yes A V6 Clio is the way to go

I had a 166 with a 2.5 v6 and manual box. Best I managed was 34 mpg. On a high speed run to dover at 77mph (give or take *wink*) it still managed 27mpg.

The 166 is significantly heavier, so is sugest 30 mpg is a quite reasonable expectation on the motorway.

 

How about a diesel merc CLK?

 

what about a Clio 3.0? Not too sure about the 30mpg, but it can't be too bad surely - it must weigh naff all
