Well, in a pub, folks would find it difficult to tune you out if you're nearby. This could lead to misunderstandings. Consider how easy it is to tune out people you don't like, here on the Forums. Assuming you're not too lazy to use the Ignore function or that you are not secretly trying to shit-stir. I believe some people do that passive-aggressive thing in the mistaken belief that they are "above such things". Those guys are hilarious!
we talked about this before, loz. people have dropped out of voting mostly because they have lost faith in uk politics, tbh, i don't blame em either, traditionally we have low turn outs up here, mostly because our votes rarely count in uk elections. not because they agree or disagree with the majority. you could atake that further and ask, what about those that are not deemed eligible to vote because of age who will be affected most?, yet in an aging society, those of an age where maybe they aint quite all there can still vote, and quite often by proxy, a bit worrying that people like khan, can go around Scottish care homes scaring people about losing their pension no?

Is that 16-y/o's with life experience? Emancipated minors? Or 16-y/o's living at home, with little or no life/work experience and little responsibility for paying the bills and who will either vote the way their parents vote, or against the way they voted, depending upon whether they are shouting "It's SO unfair!" at the ballot box?
