Yeah, me too. Had to take Mrs Nothingbettertodo to work and collect her later. She thinks me and my 4x4 are real heroes!!!
Went to cinema with my wife to see Les Mis!Best bit was the advert for Ducati, with Keira Knightley, before the film started. Not to sure about Ducatis new colour scheme though!
Worked from home today. Treating the Doris to a Beefeater tonight (oooooeeeeeerrrr Missus!) Taking advantage of their 50% off offer... Rock and/or Roll mate....
I've been made a moderator on another forum, so just for giggles I sent loads of infractions out - bastards have spammed the crap out of my inbox:frown: I might hide here a while...
Out and about early this morning, a fella wobbled out from behind some flats on a desmosedici (sp?) whatever that is, my wife, eight year old son, and I watched, dunbstruck wondering if we needed to go pick him up. He was pretty short and the first on the high street so riding in 4-6 inches of virgin snow.
Big hugs! So far this morning I've been woken at 1.35, 2.39 and 5.15 by my friends getting in from the night club in town after having an "easy one" before we leave resort this morning The two lads that got in at 5.15am were being picked up at 7.20am. It was a bit of a struggle waking them up I can tell you! And they looked rough as feck! Serves them right
amazing T.M. - you must have thought you dreamt it.. This still haunts me poor bloke - bike remains in gear still running
Lovely. today, I've been waiting for the boys to get ready to go out on the sleds. In the meantime, I've been wiring some 12v lights to work with my boat battery to make a lighting system for my garage!
Jerry I bought some of those high intensity LED strips on a roll from E-Bay, you can get indoor and outdoor varieties and different colours. The low draw makes them excellent for use on any battery powered solution. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LED-STRIP...ighting_Lamps_Lighting_SM&hash=item2a1cef36fa
Since getting home Ive tried to see what the bike was, looked like that one, do they have desmosedici transfers on the fairing? Would he have put them on? It didnt look like the google images of a desmosedici? I am not too clued up on sports dukes Im sorry. Wish Id got a pic of him.
about to modify 851 rad for last time I hope*. If still freezing/out in the sticks please don't go out in a car unless you really have to, and if you have to - remember Beware ALL inclines.. *all done and topped up with antifreeze some 5 hours later - very pleased. I daren't run it but is 99% ready for MOT now
Well, it it was a Desmosedici, trying to ride on virgin snow, you'd have to think it was being stolen. I can't imagine people rich enough to buy one being stupid enough to take a machine like that for a run on the snow (though I could be surprised). "Wobbled out from behind some flats" only reinforces my suspicions.
