Where abouts is that as I see that colour BMW on the way to work most mornings and there can’t be too many of that model in that colour?
Just had a ride out to a mate's up near Buxton and the last half mile was still single track due to the snow drifts still hanging around . Steve
Stripped the harness back where the horn wires should have been cropped - they are not there at all so will have to wire direct to the battery after all Moved the bike out of the dining room ready for the Czech contingency flying in for Easter - love the way this bike looks, especially in the sun It's now sat next to it's twin
hehe Lingfield to EG... I like the bit from lingfield just past the race track to that bend below edenbridge. If you can get it empty on sunny morning its a beaut. Mind the manhole cover tho. So now just kicking back after a red hot bath, smoked a one skin and listening to Idris Muhammad Turn This Mutha Out. Great.
I’ve been to Halifax Piece Hall with SWMBO as she wanted to buy a friend who has had a severe stroke 4 months a present for when she visits her next Tuesday. And whilst we were in Halifax I somehow managed to spend £60 on two new pairs of jeans and a new razor. All of which I didn’t really need. :/
Not yet, we have found one we like and our offer has been excepted but there seems to be a bit of a lull in the market. It's a proper pain in the arse putting everything back and tidying up all the time. Hoping the bank holiday will encourage people out. How about you, anything as yet?
Nope. We are in the top two of the estate agents views on line (taking into account their website, Rightmove, Zoopla and another one I can’t remember there’s been over 8000 hits apparently) but we’ve only had two actual viewings. But there again the weather has been crap since it went up for sale about 6 weeks ago. He’s hopeful that Easter will be the turning point. And until we’ve got someone on the hook we aren’t going to look either.
Anything would better than the tyres taken off, bald! Done about 200km on them today, seems good so far. Completely different thread pattern than the 3, apparently improves wet weather grip and braking distance. There's a higher level of silicone than rubber in them which surprised me. They did warm quìckly, good turn in and I would say tyre edge grip is impressive. Chap at the dealer was saying he had done a track day on them and he's fast. Hopefully they last a by longer than the PR3.....
Came through Abergavenny late morning on our way back home from the weekend in Llandrindod Wells. Told there was s big bike meet somewhere near Monmouth today as there were hundreds of bikes out on the roads as we came out of Wales and back into England. If you saw a red Diavel, a red Multistrada DVT and a red Mk1 Multistrada line astern, that’ll have been us. Weather nearer home definitely not as good as around the Brecons today. Managed just under 500 miles this weekend and now need new tyres for Carole’s Diavel (given the 3 punctures on Friday) and new fork seals for mine, again. Woke up to find a small puddle of oil on the ground under the front caliper .... bugger ! Andy
