CC I got 900SS ie in parts at the moment and will start rebuilding it mid February latest. Can lend you some parts till then if you interested? No idea what you would need.
not in the slightest, go ahead and trust a new person who is hidden behind a keyboard, he may be genuine.... i have no need of his services as I have access to all i need to build anything I wish but I have been witness to this sort of thing before where people got ripped off... My question was aimed at seeing what he had made before... if he works where he says then he will have made endless homework projects and only be too proud to show off his work. Or he could just be after your parts to never be seen again... I wish anyone huge success if he is genuine... or a shoulder to cry on if he turns out to be fake

Restricted, I'm at a loss over the way this is going but can see at least one other thread that appears to be of the same ilk! I offer something for free and someone is getting tetchy and almost insulting. I'm 50 years old this year and quite frankly have no time for small minded tit tat bordering on juvenile dummy spitting. Cut the crap out or don't post on forum members threads. No one likes a smart arse and I've seen so many of them crash and burn it would make your eyes water. Like I said, nuff said so quit the tone or at least have the decency to pm the members you are warning. Logical really as negative comments are not doing any favours. For your information, and I'm loathed to even get into this, I've made many parts myself for both my brothers. My current job doesn't give me direct access to machines at work that I can use myself for obvious reasons. My contacts and local companies I contract to for prototypes and test runs have many machines including full bi-rotative/simultaneous 5 axis machining centres running 15,000rpm plus and in excess of 20m/min cutting/axis traverse speed. But hey machinery isn't the point here. If I'm lucky I'll jump on a machine when I get chance. If I can get up and running and form a business of my own I'll be doing everything even if there is only 24 hours in 1 day!!!! Might even post some images of the parts I make including the members who kindly loaned me the parts to measure in the first place if they can stand the limelight and fame.......Who knows? Remember, if you can't trust anyone, who can you trust? Stand still and everyone will pass you!! I've nothing to hide and have already been in touch with quite a few members from this forum and other forums including car parts. I can give any assurances to those members that have any doubt's including a deposit if they so wish.

African p*nce, you say? :wink: I can understand one or two people being cautious bearing in mind a recent event, which when discussed it has transpired some members bits and pieces went AWOL.

so at your age then you would understand someone wanting proof of what you said you could do.... if as you say you are genuine then you will have no issue with showing what you can make? oh and by the way i am of a similar age to you, so hardly genuine, just being cautious... er it's a forum for open debate? if you don't want to have a balanced debate, don't post... or do you not like being challenged?
