  2. Great choice :upyeah:

My mate did the same. Except he bought a 1100s monster after I told him to try Ducati as well as the speed triple he was set on buying. He still has it, must be 6 years now

  4. Welcome. In Snells you have chosen a good dealer. I plan to head for the Alps on approx 10 July by Multistrada 1200. When are you setting off?

  5. Welcome chap. Apart from the usual newbie target fixation, particularly on corners, everything else should be learnt at your own speed, don't rush it, you have plenty of time to enjoy it.

  6. Will keep my eyes peeled for you 79. I've never heard ‘forgotten to inform the war department’ used before - love it.

  13. I’m assuming you’re ex team member? Greatest respect to you. I’ve sky dived with a number of forces guys and was trained by an ex SAS member and been lucky enough to have spent an evening at Hereford with some very unassuming guys (one a Victoria Cross recipient) Respect:)

  14. No, not me. Closest I got was failing helicopter training when I was 20, then took a career selling IT. I was in awe of the work those guys did and pinched their call sign for my handle on this forum.

  16. Assume you’re a red nose then?

  17. Only because they were the best in the early 80's and I was left to choose my own team.
