I'm in the doghouse today. Apparently its wrong that I think that people should respect my house and the things in my house and I should allow them to trash it and them as they please
Really? I would be in the dog house a lot if that was the case, I hate it when people take liberties with other people’s property, also As a guest, you respect the house rules of your host, and yes that also applies to little kids, in that case you as a parent are responsible for your offsprings actions, I was told before that you can’t tell a 3 year old “no” when they tear down your house, I strongly disagree, I think kids do understand perfectly well what is ok and what is not ok, it’s only natural that they try it on, but education doesn’t start in school, it starts at home, but then does that attitude surprise me? You only have to look at the state of the British roads and his verges, the amount of littering by adults is just unbelievable , so how could people with that attitude ever educate their children to be respectful towards others and the environment we live in ? Exactly ........ sorry rant over lol
snow joke in Outlane this morning - any thoughts of tidying the garden abandoned quicker than you could say Anton Dec...
Don't know how to respond to this very sad news, a thumbs up, thumbs down, tongue out, shy girl, hysterical face, tiara, tick, cross, heart, pineapple, tools, turd, handbag, or haunted face doesn't quite cut it.
A little late with this post as I crashed on the couch last night and didn't move till this morning. Yesterday my husband and I sat drinking our morning coffee while watching the Tom's struttin' around. The hens didn't seem impressed. We were though and watched for hours, completely fascinated (close up pic was taken last week). Eventually they walked off so we ate brunch then went off to see the movie The Greatest Showman. We both like musicals but they don't make them like they used to (La La Land was weak). This one was well produced. Hugh Jackman also did a great job. BTW-was going to fire up the bike but then a snowstorm came along dumped 8" in our area with record low temps. Killed that idea. More snow on the way today and tomorrow.
Not today, but tomorrow I'm taking the multi to Ducati Mcr for its annual check up/ service. I've ordered a loan bike and hoping for a dry day.
Watched 'Death of Stalin' Comedicially filmed with the characters making no attempt to play with a Russian accenct. The leader of the Soviet Army was broad Yorkshire. A nice little, light hearted history lesson of the time after Stalin's death and the duplicitous shenannigans of Nikita Khrushchev et al.
