Had to commute the other day and the trusty dr650 is sick. My wifes Callifornia Stone and my duke were both tucked up and the sidecar outfit would have been a nightmare in bristol traffic, so dragged the Duke out, on the way home I passed a mate down by the severn bridge, hes an amateur photographer, he fired a few off and sent them to me via email, thought Id pop them up here, you can see the bike in action, its a little small for me as you can see. I will say it was good to get out on it though, handling is sublime, fuel light came on at 97 miles though GGGGRRRR, took 9.5 l to fill up. Anyway.................. Arty Shot

Wear you beard with pride, thats what I always say. Funny, so does my dad.................. His is spectacular!! The cold DOES get to a chap when he is beardless. yes, thats ice. And Id been home for 5 mins while the wife looked for the camera.
Me outside a mates house on my first race bike (a seriously ported GT250B Suzuki) in 1982 and waiting in the warm up area at Snetterton in 1992 at my last ever race where I shared a pit garage with James Haden who was riding the next day on a 250 and also had a long chat with Ron Haslam about TZ750s when he wandered in and saw my mates one next to my 350, a really nice down to earth person who was only to happy to also talk about the rotary Norton he was riding and how they altered the engine characteristics by adjusting the length of the inlet tract and probably loads of other stuff I don't remember any more.
