I just bought a V60 and love it, it's understated and comfy and just averaged 60mpg on a 1500 mile run out.
I was sorely tempted by the V60 Hybrind last time I changed, but the boots too small for my needs. A real shame as the electric only running, overall performance and gadgets were great. I’m a big BMW fan but thier hybrid 330e and 530e are saloon only. If they did tourers I’d be knocking on their door. Next time around I’m hoping used XC90 or V90 hybrids might drop into my budget.
XC60 has a bigger boot, but the demise of the current model made the V60 a no-brainer with the deal offered. I was on the fence between the V60 and an M-Sport 520D Touring, BMW felt hewn from granite for sure but the V60 seemed to be trying less hard and as a discreet family wagon it really ticked the boxes. It's big enough for the kids / dog and comfier than the 911 was...
