Once I get paid at the end of Jan, i'll be signing up for this. Only been to Cadwell the once. Loved it
Only a short distance from caddy so may be up for this. 30 min sessions seems a long time though, usually 20,min sessions are enough. Not sure what group to go in yet though as this may be my first track day on the Ducati so may drop to lower group, usually happy in inters / fast.
There will be space to swap groups on the day if you feel the need, The 30 minutes sessions are there mainly so you don't all have to start at the same time that will breate space as people come and leave the track at different times. Bike magazine and also performance bike and Practical sports bike are coming along as well for the day so it should make for a nice day out.
Looks like I'll have some competition for a write up then . I was speaking to Si from RiDE and i know he's going and it will be good to see him again. Off the top of your head, whats the petrol situation like at Cadwell? I know there isnt a petrol station anywhere nearby, but do they have some on site?
Most folk tend to drive to Louth for fuel, there is a Total and Esso close by 3 and i think there is a shell in the town along with the various supermarket fuel stations. The circuit does also have fuel available at certain times during the day but it costs a little more than at the town.
If I can convince the other half to come with, I think i'll be popping some Jerry cans in the back of her Pug
There is a very old and rickety petrol station only a few minutes away, but no cards - only white fivers. You will only need a tenners worth of top-up at lunch time at the track, so it is no big deal really. I too was a bit concerned about a full 30 mins, but if the start and finishes are a bit more relaxed than the 20 min billies then I might be in. Cadwell is hard work ( for an old git anyway) but awesome fun !!
Too many Daves !! the 748 variety will sort you out !! You can clink on the link on the first post and go into the Online Shop. I cannot open paypal from work, but will book mine tonight at home. Best get the old bus polished up !! I am usually second slowest in the Intergroup, but know my way round and can grin like an idiot !! - cant wait !!
Im fairy comfortable in the Inters, but i plan on dropping down to Novice as it wil be my first trackie of the year and only the second time I would have been to Cadwell. Well thats that plan anyway
I'm up for Cadwell Park in April. Did my first trackday at Snetterton last September and thoroughly enjoyed it although it was a little nerve-wracking! Not least when a one-armed man overtook me on the inside of one of the tight right-handers... I kid you not. He was q u i c k . cheers, Dom
Gone large.. I decided to bite the bullet and book all four days in the end: the '430 Package Offer'. Two days at Cadwell, one Snetterton and an evening at Brands Indy. Bring it on...! At least one day out of four ought to be dry?? cheers, Dom
Booked the Cadwell 6th April in inters/fast, not sure if thats a good idea as it will be my first on the Duke but will see. Just need the weather for a perfect day !
That;s me booked - just to lose a few lbs to make the onesie look OK !! PS PTL the Site came back from the dead !
