Stolen 1098s

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by kitfit1, Jan 21, 2013.

  1. Had my 1098s stolen from my garage between 11pm last night and 5am this morning.
Reg is BX08 AG0, Frame number is ZDMH700AA7B10359, Engine number is ZDM1098W4-010360.
It's red with a white number board on the nose, has black JHP rearsets, Termi end cans, carbon clutch cover and carbon swinging arm cover as well as the usual carbon bits on the S model.
If any of you see it could you please call the police.

Edit: Yes your right Andy. Bike was stolen from Stourport-On-Severn, Worcestershire.
They didn't take the keys, they are in a safe place in the house.

  2. location or area might be a good start.....did they take the keys?

  3. Oh man!!! I feel for you, I hope you get it back, and the thieving scum are caught and properly punished.

  4. Oh bum
    Will keep an eye out
    :-(

  5. Look on eBay all the parts will be on there shortly
    Sad but true

  6. Bastards, fingers crossed you get her back in one piece.

  7. Check the local multistorey and supermarket carparks, industrial and housing estates. A lot of times, the thieves will part the bike there for a few days to see if there's a Tracker on the bike before removing it for good.

  8. Can you post some pictures?

  9. Tossers they need their hands chopping off.

  10. So sorry about this dude. Ive moved the thread upto Ducati General Discussion so more people may see it

  11. So sorry to hear that :( I hope you'll get her back in one piece.

  12. I hope you get your bike back but I'm kind of thinking that you probably wont sorry, it's alway easier to ask all sorts of questions after the event like was it anchored down but a dertemined thief will take your pride and joy no matter what defences you may have and sometimes you have to put it down to experience, until these clowns in government bring in tuffer sentencing for these arseholes then this kind of shit will continue to go on. I think all thieves should be permently tattooed on their foreheads.

  13. Stourport that's only 3mls from me! Lots of pikeys around there, good point about having a look around had a bike pinched a few years ago & found it behind a shed on a building site.

  14. Can you tell if it was loaded in a van?

If not could they of wheeled it away?

If so, WINTHROP the area..........ie stand at the end of your garage and think like a crime, which way would be the most covert way of leaving and follow that route looking for places that you could temporarily park the bike and hide it.........this is often done as they wait to see if there is a traker fitted...

  15. Mate, I feel sorry for you. A couple of years ago some thieving scumbags broke into our garage and (luckily) just stole gardening equipment. However, in the garage was my 1198S, RSV4 Factory APRC and a scooter. Needless to say I moved out the same day and have not taken them back since.

My mate had a Fireblade nicked from his front garden just 10 hours after collecting it from the dealer, it's a real bummer when one goes missing.

  16. Did that twice when I had a bike nicked from front of my house, and sure enough t was a few mis away tucked in a garage doorway

  17. So sorry to hear about the theft as i know how much you enjoyed riding it as i did.
Fingers crossed it may turn up assuming you would want it back!

    Good luck

  18. Thats sad news. Fingers crossed its found and returned to you.

  19. What sort of a thief steals gardening equipment when there are 2 gorgeous bikes parked in the same garage  Anyway I bet you're glad that they preferred a lawnmower over 1198S
