I was thinking of the rubber matting which you can buy in mahoosive lengths - just not sure how the joins will look and if it will move - v.cheap and durable. Machine Mart sell it but loads on-line and on Ebay...
Well, I'm on the 'Garage Interior Design' mailing list, and have had this saved in my faves for a while. I fancy a plain grey ceramic tile if I'm honest though. My bike lift wories me with rubber matting as it's weighs a ton.
just seen your other post.. yes same plan I used these - https://www.directtilewarehouse.com/dotti-anti-slip-floor-tiles-anthracite-floor-tiles/ There was a rotten old carpet in there previously and I fancied something that holds up to spills.. I'm not the most practical but watched a few youtube videos and thought sod it i'll give it a go.. not perfect, but better than expected (grout residue comes of tomorrow .. hopefully) The garage has had a bit of a make over (just a single so i can't fit to many exotic things in there); storage is the next job..
This is the type I was thinking of using - not as posh though... https://www.ukcontractflooring.co.u...MI_Y31qNer2gIVirDtCh2ejgh9EAYYAyABEgIK3vD_BwE
I did think about going down this route or with the interlocking tile type. Tiling was probably a bit overkill but i thought it would be easier to clean .I was also worried they would smell strongly; probably warmer under foot though.
Must be Spring - got the Elsie out to charge the battery, wipe off the Winter XF, and see if she'll start...
