**BREAKING NEWS** Marquez punishment revealed. He has to have this bike modification done for the next 3 races. I still think he'll pick up at least 2 wins and a further podium though.
I don't do favourites or hero worship and just like Marquez and Rossi equally but I can't help thinking Rossi is talking bollocks when he has a long history of doing the same thing. He's just on the wrong side of it now.
But he looked to me like he committed four crimes, the start debacle, then barging into Rossi and espargo, then to top it all he is a class A cunt....minimum one race ban and should be taken roughly by a bison with no lube.
Spot on. Anyway, who doesn't like a bad boy? The spice of life! I don't do hero worship either so it always amuses the hell out me seeing the backlash from Rossi fanboys when he (Rossi) gets a dose of his own medicine.
Well... The start debacle - He was given a ride through Espargaro - Investigated during the race and classed as a racing incident. Rossi - Investigated during the race and given a 30 second penalty Being a class A c**t - Subjective and doubt it's covered in Dorna's rule book tbh. If a decision has already been made on the 3 of these incidents which were down to his riding, how can more punishment be metered out? If nothing had been done in the race, maybe. As said above, many riders have punted others off over the years, none more so than Rossi. I didn't see bans for them. You may not like Marquez, but I doubt Dorna are about to ban one of their biggest box office draws.
If all of those rossi barges on other riders were in one race though, that becomes something else. In my opinion, Marquez's move on Espagaro was the worst one and in no way a racing incident. If that's deemed a racing incident, it sets a precedent that turns MotoGP into a game of Road Rash. There's no race craft in engaging ramming speed and barging someone out the way. Block passes, where riders come together later in the corner, are a different matter and perfectly fine. Some block passes are harsher than others, but that's racing. These incidents where before the apex, akin to Rossi's Stoner incident. If Rossi had stayed on that race and done that same move on another rider, and another, I'm sure he'd had been harshly dealt with.

Cost him the championship. He would have beaten Lorenzo, remember he was only a spot or two from it anyway coming from the back. Dorna did terrible job this weekend overall
But he wouldn't on either of those points. He finished 4th coming from the back of the field, but his lap times were considerably slower than Lorenzo, Marquez and Pedrosa in that race, even in clean air. That was probably where he would have finished anyway starting at the front of the grid. The Rossi fan club might like to think he would have won it and there are lots of arguments about him using tyres to get through the field, being held up etc. It's been done to death and we'll never know, but the data doesn't support the theory.
Had a bit of a full on day yesterday at work and when i sat down (8pm) i did look at mobdro and thought "is it working today" and it was...totally forgot about it - didnt know you could download in HD from it though....
We went to Valencia for the 2015 final and Rossi was just not as quick as either Marquez or his bodyguard Lorenzo. Everyone was hoping Marquez would crash as that was the only way Rossi could win. If I remember rightly Marquez didn't even need to come above tenth or something like that yet he still pushed for first as he did last year. That to me is what it is all about and I can't help respecting him for that as it makes things awesome for the audience. The save in the final last year was completely ridiculous.
