In weight? Not sure mate, like I say, I ain't done nowt yet, but am not taking as many jeans or shoes. Got two panniers and 1x 35 litre dry bag, but am going to try and not fill it to the brim, bike felt top heavy last time. Cya Friday.
Thought I might as well write my packing list here as anywhere else. At least then I won't be able to lose it! I'll travel pretty light, but I can't be arsed with washing clothes if I don't have to, so for 7 days of riding in Spain ... In my luggage: - 7 pairs socks and undies - 7 t-shirts - 1 pair of jeans and trainers - 1 hoody - sun glasses - baseball cap - washing and shaving kit - phone charging plug and European adapter - something to read on the ferry - spare gloves On my bike - tools - satnav - visor cleaning stuff On my body: - riding suit (Goretex shell with armour, over undersuit and liner) - helmet - ear plugs + spares - gloves - riding boots - waterproof socks (coz my riding boots ain't) - phone, charge cable and ear buds - wallet with cash, credit card, EHIC card - paperwork - bike registration, warranty booklet, insurance, ferry and hotel booking confirmations etc. - spare bike key - passport I think that's the lot
Remember lads... we want lots of pictures and the bar is set pretty high as you can see from @chizel 's last trip... (he's playing the piano)
To make up time I doubt Tim and I will take the same route as the rest of you guys from Santander to Leon - we'll probably go a bit more direct and aim to be with you late afternoon/early evening on Sunday in time for dinner and a few drinkies. We will do a bit of planning on the ferry on Saturday and text you a rough ETA when we know what we are doing @Wayne58
I've never had a problem. I'll be using a medium tinted visor. I might take a clear spare if I can be arsed but we aren't planning to ride in the dark so it won't get used.
Cool, Thanks Dave When I say tinted its black as an 8 ball I can't be arsed to find my clear visor, i'll bring a pair of safety specs just in case
