  1. I've used the same method to gain entry to my own garage loads of times! I was horrified the first time I did it!

    I have also added bolts!

Good luck getting her back or with the insurance.

  2. Put on fastbikes Facebook page , hope that's okay

  3. Don't be telling the ins. co. that!

  4. I'd be inclined to delete that post dude, the steering lock, not the warning that is

  5. if it happened at complete dead of night then small chance it could be picked out on a traffic camera, but obviously hard to single out..

  6. Hi sorry to hear of your loss!!
I've put it on my Facebook page in shrewsbury. Hope it turns up in one piece!!

  7. Saw this on Facebook, in fact it's what sent me in this direction to register after having been on ducatisti.... Any way, sorry to hear this. Know how gutted I'd be, best of luck getting it back!

  8. Walk the route they took and drove as far as you can guess and see if any of the neighbours/shops have CCTV covering the road.

  9. Spoke to the DC investigating the theft of my bike and the 2 Harley's stolen the same night today.
Nothing found from investigations so far, so not looking good at all for getting it back in one piece, or any pieces for that matter.
The police have done house to house where i live, SOCO have photographed all the relevant footprints and tyre tracks (there was fresh snow), there are no CCTV camera's near to where i live.

I have asked the police to ask the DVLA if anyone has made an address request against my bike's registration number and the 2 Harley's. Because that is a very easy way to get an address for a registered keeper for any bike that is seen out and about............................if someone has made a request for all 3, it would be a very strong lead.

  10. Don't suppose you have you bike serviced at the same place as the Harley's, they could get your address from there?

  11. I do hope the bike is found unmolested. Just not a nice experience :frown:

  12. Shit bad one mate. Am a long way from you but will check all the ones I see however thats not many at the moment. Really feel for you. If they are caught nothing happens to the scum just hope life dumps on them from a great hight.

    Regards Steve

  13. Gutted for you, hope you get it back and the thieving scumbags get what they deserve! Best of luck.

  14. Was it ground anchored or chained up to anything?

  15. My brother inlaw used to have a trip wire rigged to a shotgun blank in his garage. If anyone breaks in and closes the door behind them they are gunna trade there hearing for the bike or wake you up and get a serious kicking. Hope you get it back dude.

  16. I doubt it, he didn't even have the steering lock on.

  17. Sad to hear of s**t like this ......

Hope you get it back ................

  18. I don't think it's easy to do an address request for a VRN, at least not for general public anyway
Chass has a point, when i take a bike for an MOT and they ask for an address so they can give you a reminder I give them a false address. The police have very fancy systems in place for tailing cars that are in convoy and associations too.

  19. how do they know the bike is there ? every dealer you go to takes down your details dodgy mechanics anyone???
check gumtree a lot of stolen bike parts come up on there

  20. Sorry mate,

I only live up the road a little so will spread the word to friends in bewdley, kiddi and Worcester.

Have you had any work done on it lately anywhere?

    hope it returns soon.
