Got my van ready for Cardiff tomorrow at 3am oh joy...oh and saw my mate from bunderburg in Australia again should catch her again before I leave for France on Sunday
I drank my first glass of the 2017 kirsch. It has been breathing in my woodshed for the last 6 months. I have to say, without patting myself on the back, that it is a truly stonking kirsch. Perhaps the best I have ever tasted. Result!
Some Honda bits just came through the letter box. Should get to start her up by Saturday evening.............
I've been two hours up the road to see the solicitor to sort out probate for my mum's will. So far it is painless.
Will be strapping the hyper motor to a large pallet and loading it in the back of the car for tomorrow's mercy mission to Ducati John.
Me and my two brothers were fully expecting my money grabbing sister to kick off. So far it's all quiet on the western front.
Was asked if I could refit the side stand to the NC29. The chap we bought it from had converted it to a full track bike for racing so had to improvise. The gear lever on the rearset clashed with the spigot on the side stand so resurrected my MIG welder and did a bit of cut and shut. Even managed to connect the wiring in case she forgets. Andy
Fought for space on the slopes... not. Also had to contend with a couple of inches of fresh powder on a groomed piste ... it’s been tough over here this week
Took my old girl to The Image Works for a face lift. The guy who fitted the Xerox kit made it look so very easy. My sticker fitting skills reached their zenith in the 70`s with the Airfix water slider transfers.
