Drowned then froze my cobs off watching the second BSB race from Paddock Hill. Warm sunshine for most of the morning to wondering if the rain was going to turn to hail or snow by mid afternoon. British weather ! Andy
Ouch, done that so know how you feel. You've only got 4 weeks to get better so get in one of those barometric chamber thingies. Seriously though, I wish you a speedy recovery. Andy
Think Courchevel is end of month as well though I have known them run some of the lifts into May when the snow is still there, I can’t squeeze another trip in unfortunately.
Got in a bit ago from shoveling snow and playing with the dogs. It just keeps on snowing and snowing and snowing... Also spent some time checking out the new Husqvarna motorcycles online. Trying to decide between getting an R3 to start out racing or hold off and get an Enduro to have some fun with. I know of one person that races a BMW with ABS brakes. Is that common now? It doesn't make sense but then it's all new to me. I ask because I can get a new R3 with ABS at a great price. Didn't find anything helpful on the internet.
The temps have been about 6 degrees below freezing so not too bad. It's when the wind gusts, you can't keep your eyes open and snow goes down your collar that's the worst. My husband just went out to go snowmobiling, I will be heading out to do the same shortly. I think if we didn't have that option, it would be miserable.
Just over 100 miles of greenlaning. Went with a mate and met up with the Lancashire crew. My navigational skills are crap, I`ve no idea where we went, all I know is we started and finished at Colne, rode some lanes and tracks, stopped for fish & chips at a bike meeting place??? and then rode some more. The old bike handled everything I threw it at, a brilliant day out.
