Ok managed a 130 ish mile run on all kinds of roads and it really helps especially on the slow techical stuff where I tend to use the rear brake to stabilise the bike.

I made this one in a bit of a hurry and it could have been machined out better with a dremel bit more suited to grinding out cast alloy.
The base plate is 1mm stainless and I have now fitted stainless m4 Allen boots to replace the original ones I used to fit the unit.

I have thread locked the bolts in and a check after the run found none loose so succss.

The the rear foot rest is just under £18 Brand new from ducati so probably £20 ish for bits (I had the bolts and stainless plate in my collection of useful bits and bobs)

Maybe 3/4 to an hour to fabricate

I'm going to have a go. What mm plate is that? I have some buy think its too thick
