Great photos, Always superb to be on the grid. Some brilliant racing aswell, The weather as always throwing a curve ball into the mix.
I know looks a bit suspect, lol Looks like the sort of thing you see discarded on a motorway hard shoulder
Love the way Ray and Suzuki are mixing it up, the boys got serious talent......questionable hair, but talent
I like Rays riding style. Very smooth and fluid. Hangs right off. Seems to be a good guy too. Plus he's on a gixxer. Always good to see a gixxer doing well. Get him on the Suzuki MotoGP bike. The kids got talent and used his head on the wet 2nd race. Plus I used to have a barnet like that in my scooter days.
Was an exciting days racing, we get it live here in NZ (Sunday only) but I usually record it and watch as soon as possible after as it starts around Midnight and finishes at 5 or 6am.
Ray really has that something, and IMHO always has. Makes you feel old though: I can remember him being about 3’ tall, with milky bar kid glasses, and winning in 125’s. After yesterday’s performance (no spoilers) in really tough conditions, I can see him being a real contender this year as his temperament and thoughtfulness is clearly there.
Size is relative, I have stood beside Bradley on 2 occasions and he looks like a 12 year old by comparison. Andy
Look at how Baz went...IMHO it would be a massive mistake for him, if he wants to win stuff. If he wants to ride around, mid or tail end pack, on a bike then FairPlay. Worth noting he did OK, bit not grate, in the CEV M3 ranks. Now, WSBK, different kettle of fish....Sykes could be in trouble come renewal
He’s incredibly mature for his age. Would have had the 1st race in the bag but made 1 mistake running wide at paddock hill, considering the pressure he was under from shakey for 20 or so laps the boy did good The Suzuki stock is looking like a good package for once
Dont want to give too much away...but his interview too shower real class. Most of the paddock, especially Crutchlow could do with some lessons. Honest, humble, positive.
Vid and a couple of phots from the day. It's not often we get a chance to get to watch the races so we managed to get a good deal on a space in a box which was pretty awesome and well worth the cash especially when it rained towards the end of the day.
I honesttly dont mind Cals gruffiness. I think he's quite dry. He amuses me. However I am easily pleased and can find humour in just about anything. I hope Bradley can sustain a challenge as frankly Shakey deserves one. He showed maturity and after every race wins more fans. But I also want Jake to do well. Trouble with BSB is that I want all of them to do well. Except any Aussies of course. I'd like them to fall on their arses.
