Monster Years

  1. Hi guys, thinking of returning to Ducati with a 1200 Monster

    Just wondered if anyone can give me the info on the model years that things changed please :)

    Probably going to be the 1200 S or R

    Also any tips in what to look for as a purchaser

  3. Im guessing your moving your SDR1290 on....whats the reason for the change...?

  4. Maybe what you are not looking for but I am toying with selling my immaculate Monster 1200r with termi end cans. Coming up for two years old but only 2500 miles- supplied and serviced by Seastars in Norwich.
    Over 17k with the termis ( I think an absolute must) so some significant savings.
    Obviously just not using it enough and thinking of moving to the 1260 Multi pp if funds allowed.

  5. Just the 1290GT when i get back from Germany on it early May....SDR is a keeper

  6. Ah - ok - isnt the monster more akin to the SDR....the GT being more of a tourer....but then saying that the GT and the SDR are near identical....

  7. Yeah very similar i suppose - just seen one at a bike meet and thought it looked awesome
