What year was that? I still have my brothers Raleigh Equipe from when he was 12 ish (i think) - he is 45 now.
Only for those that can afford to take it in for tuneups. Shop time to expose the engine would cost an arm and a leg.
My current non-Ducatis, starting with daytime MOT Spa/track bike, Honda CB900FA, Freddie Spencer Rep paint, hence 750 side panels, monoshocked, Ohlins fitted, CBR600 17" wheels, Fireblade swingarm and forks. Powered by Suzuki GSX1100EFE engine - a hoot an a holler! My Moto Morini Granpasso 1200 87 degree V Twin, entirely Morini's own in-house designed and built engine. Super comfortable, long distance bike. My RSV Mille R, fully binned up
Pic of a KTM my son bought from a buddy. The guy was going to race it and changed his mind. My son is graduating from a PhD program(so proud of him!)and accepted a job in California starting this summer. KTM will be his new daily driver, ideal for filtering. It needs a little work but he loves working on bikes and doing his own thing. He doesn't own a car. He had a scooter but someone stole it recently...again. The Honda is one of his earlier project bikes that is his current daily driver. Not exactly pretty but at least no one has tried to steal it, knock on wood.
