Anyone Fancy A Week Or So Away 15th April?

Flying solo today Tel, Will catch up with the others later.

 

Just hit 4000 feet on the L511, a glorious little winding 15 miles of perfection in the arse end of nowhere

 

Nearly at your tours end chap, enjoy those miles, it looks lovely.

 

On top of the C1311, a tiny road, very very twisty, but leads up here

 

Sadly, there after no photos that do this justice. Apparently, the view is in excess of 100 miles

 

Bizarre, there's an albatross circling, but it's a few hundred feet below me.

Whenever I go, all my pics tend to be like the last shot, and never in between. I’m normally just crawling on. So fair play for stopping and sharing

 

No problem mate, riding alone today so have stopped loads.

 

Ridden that way lots of times, good roads. Recognise the pics and the layby on the Col. Usually stay in Benabarre which is about 5 miles from barbastro. Enjoy, wishing I was there too.

 

Tours end this time noob's, but I'm coming back in June.

 

The L511 and C1311 are great, but not sure some of the party will agree ??

 

if you get chance in June ride the road from Col de Nargo to Berga. (starts as the L401 I think) It's epic. The L511 finishes almost where the 401 starts. It's very much a similar road but epic views and no traffic. From Berga you can nip up to the N260 etc for a route back or go on towards the med.

 

Ah, Col de Boixols - one of my favourites, especially when riding an S1000R with sticky tyres. Only five weeks to go...

 

Yeah, ridden that road before, epic fun.
