So what have you done today..?

  1. We really enjoyed L'Enclume when we tried it a while back. We also went for a similar dining experience at the Lake Road restaurant in Ambleside where the chef took great delight in explaining how the fish we were eating was killed in a tank of water so the blood is fully drained from the fish under the pressure of the water, a job usually undertaken by Norwegian children!
When we were leaving he's was sat cross legged on the counter top playing a flute!

  4. Started off with laundry today, followed by washing the bike then spending most of my time on this dammed laptop looking at cars and, listening to my neighbours.

They moved into the flat beneath me last Sunday. Within minutes it has become clear that the council are now using that flat for Jeremy Kyle contestants. Throughout the week, the young couple with a small child, demonstrated the finer accomplishments of our education system in managing to hold screaming slanging matches from the minute they wake till bed time and always at volume 10 or higher

I never knew it was possible to have sentences where every second word was either F*ck or C*nt. the skill and mastery of these two, sets a standard that their son, who is 2, must be looking forward too. Their son is called Alfie, I know this because the regular shouted level 10 statements of "What the F*ck have you done Alfie" and "why the F*ck has Alfie done that" and "Alfie F*ck off and leave me alone". He seems to reply to them in a very well practiced high pitched scream that cats would admire for it's longevity and depth

There then comes the grime music which at its best even by grime standards, is the cheap end of the skill if there can ever be such a thing, made worse by the male trying to accompany it in the way white males try to do with talking in rhyme. I would suggest he avoids Simon Cowell shows.

Knowing my own Grandchildren are coming over later to my flat and not wishing for their time to be enlightened by the continual cuntery and fuckery, I knocked on downstairs door, the male answered and I said " I appreciate having a child so young is hard and being in a flat is stressful, but if I could suggest? If I have to listen to any more loud constant rows, abuse, shouting, swearing and shit singing from your flat, I'm going to come back down and kick you right in the c*nt.

Although I do not speak the young mans language of mumblish, I think my point was well received and this afternoon so far, has been very pleasant indeed. I have doughnuts for the children when they come over

  11. you know you don't have to stick to 6 months right?

  12. Found a new feature on the multi I hadn't noticed before. The throttle sticks open giving me the option of cruise control. Feels really well planted with both hands off the bars at speed.
Released the screw in the bar end blank slightly and it's back to business, short lived but fun.
