  1. So, as most know now, I picked up a 1098S last year, just before new years! Little gift to my self.

I have had a couple of decent rides out and have to say, she has almost grabbed my heart as much as my 748... Almost

I hope to get the suspension properly setup next month at Moto Rapido, but other than that, it's already had the fuelling redone by Moto Rapido and runs like a rocket!

Overall, I am in love. Everyone, meet Daisy!

  2. Chris ferrchristssake ! She's out in the rain !!!!! Lol..

  3. Hahahahaha, it started to rain 5 mins ago actually! But no, this was after me having half a day and deciding to wash, clean and cover as many bolts, heads ect ect in ACF 50, after a lathering of SDOC 100, hand wash and a wax after... Yes, I took holiday to do it!

It was starting to get too dark as I was finishing off the ACF 50 touch ups around the bike for pics :(

  4. Nice mate... I do keep telling myself I don't need a 1098s but the devil in me wants one:)

  9. how ya getting on with her matey ??? interested coz i want one badly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! err slightly more power than the 7 lol

  10. I am loving it, just really hate low speed riding, went out on the 748 yesterday and it's shockingly smoother below 40mph and below 5k rpm. Like amazingly smoother... Although, the power on the 748 is nothing haha. Made me realise just how under powered it is these days! I was waiting for the engine rather than having the balls to open the throttle!

Really hope once I got a new chain and sprockets it sorts it. Previous owner is running 14 front and 39 rear.

Factory is 15 front 38 rear. So not hugely out, but oddly enough. Also, the current Sigma chain (he put a renthal sprocket carrier on, saving me the job of doing it! haha), is terribly stretched in one location more than the other. I have known tight spots on a chain to occur pretty badly, but this is insane. So yea, new Renthal chain, and sprockets on order this weekend.

Other than that, it handles like a dream, installs so much confidence!

  12. Did it yesterday! Lol

  13. Bellissimo!

  14. Beautiful bike mate. Clashes with the blue fence though?

  15. Well... Short lived but yea, after test riding a Multistrada 1200S, I am convinced to get one.

Dont get me wrong, the 1098S is a fantastic bike! It's just the multistrada had me smiling more in 90 mins than the 1098S had at all.
