Here's my full titanium Termignoni exhaust for a 1200 DVT Multistrada. It INCLUDES the upmap key so you get the benefit of the revised and more responsive ECU map, as well as the decat, significant lightness, very nice booming exhaust note, and removal of that bloody annoying exhaust valve. With the baffle in it's quite subtle, with it out it's rather more fun! Because of the better breathing, the bike is much more responsive and lively with this fitted. I've just removed the exhaust from my own Multi and had the ECU remapped back to stock, with the Termi upmap put back on the key. See the receipt from Snell Ducati for confirmation. The exhaust also has a replacement "road legal" EC plate, the "not for road use" has been polished out, and the original plate is with the exhaust if you want to rivet it back on. It comes complete with the dedicated footrest hanger, all fitting bits, and the baffle which is in the exhaust. It also includes the fitting instructions. Fitting is pretty simple - allow a couple of hours but you could probably do it in 1 hour if you were decently competent. You just need to drop the bash plate, undo some bolts and remove the ugly cat, and then slide the Termi into place. The exhaust is as you can see in the pics. If you wanted to put some elbow grease into shining up all the pipework I'm sure it would look even better. As it is, it's come straight off the bike with some degreasing and wiping down. It's in the original box with all the packing. It is likely to be fairly pricey to post (£35-£40 probably), so if you want to pick up in Guildford, Surrey that's fine with me. This exhaust cost £1750 new. Yours for £1100 + postage. Bike not included
It was my understanding that the UPMAP only works once. If this has been on your bike they new owner will need a dealer to UPMAP it.
You need a dealer to install the upmap in any event. On the DVT model and above, you cannot install the upmap yourself. The dealer plugs the bike into the dealer's DSS system, inserts the upmap key, and then the Termi map gets loaded onto the bike, and the bike's original map gets loaded back onto the key. To reverse the process, the same thing is done and the original map goes back on the bike and the Termi map goes back on the upmap key. So the upmap key can be used as many times as you like, but only on one bike at a time, and only if the Termi map is removed from bike 1 in order to install on bike 2. Hope that makes sense.
