Thanks chuds1 The stand is made by 1jac. You do need to modify the fairing, but it’s only a small semi circle in the edge of the fairing. Once the bikes on the stand, you can spin the whole bike around easily which is great if you’re tight for space in the garage.
JWR (James Woods) up in Louth. Ex Honda WSB tech and ex Ohlins BSB tech. Also really good pricing. They have a page on Facebook I contacted him through.
Thanks for that Orchardbike, I'll look into getting one as I want to be able to lift the bike up off the ground and let the suspension relax. In some cases if the bike is left for long periods of time sitting on the suspension the front seals of the Ohlins are prone to leaking. Thanks again and I'll check out the stand.
Yes Yes. Still getting up to speed on it, but it already feels more planted, more stable. The showas were just not quite in harmony with the rest of the bike, and not very adjustable to put them right.
I can't help thinking that many of these current aftermarket tail tidies actually look a lot worse and untidier than the OEM one.
Yes of course, But i had the bike remapped with the stock system, man the stock fuelling is terrible, I'd recommend to anyone to get there stock bike re-mapped. It went from 174 RWHP to 186 RWHP and the hole in power about 7000rpm went giving a very smooth curve and the one bike feeling was night and day! The new Storm system needed tuning to suit, power stepped up to 190 RWHP and 100 Ftlb, but from 5500rpm the power is UP UP UP!......, so with also loosing 6.5kg in the system alone the bike now is now getting to how i want it, and the throttle response is staggering from any point in the RPM scale I videoed it on the dyno, the video is though the glass and off my phone.. enjoy
