  1. so if I buy the 848 and it needs belts would you try negotiate and get them changed at your trusted (Ducati John) or as they (rite bike) say if it needs them they will change them, same as if it needs pads, tires etc

  2. Get a discount for no service deffo... A Rite Bike stamp is not good in the book :)

  3. Yes my thoughts too, thing is it’s fine seeing new pads, tires etc but you would never know if belts have been done, they could outsource the work and the other party fibs

  4. Do you see any issues if it’s been on trackdays? The mileage has not rose much but the lad who bought it off me said he was going to do trackdays, I guess 848 challenge proved it’s strong

  5. Personally I don't see loads of issue, unless of course the bar ends etc all look suspiciously 'new'. Also if the wheel rims are all chewed up from tyre changing and the fork legs also from standard etc. Otherwise I wouldn't be too bothered.

Also, in terms of who services it, maybe go for the trade sale argument, that you will get it all done but you want the money off it. Then get someone you really know to go over it.

  6. I bought my 848 from them a while ago. They got someone in to change the belts. These people normally don’t give big discounts and you’d be lucky to get more then £2 to £3 hundred knocked off.
