I thought about it for two minutes and decided to go to the pub, much warmer, at least you're getting the mileage on the Scrambler, soon be using full power. Steve
I was out for a couple of hours on the monster. It looked like Kevlar jeans and summer gloves weather but it wasn’t. I had a shower when I got back to thaw out.
just picked up on the two convicted child sex offenders given a makeover in South Armagh - they mustn't have realised that the Provos take a dim view of such offenders in their community https://www.thesun.ie/news/2506282/...and-covered-in-blue-paint-in-citizens-arrest/
Met @Robarano and today and had a pootle to Sherburn - surprisingly warm I thought, t shirt, jeans and jacket weather
Been for a pootle around Matlock....I agree, was colder out than it looked. Put some miles on my new tyres. Glad to get rid of those shitty supercorsas
Should have given me a nudge , I could have given the pub a miss and suffered the cold for a ride down to Matlock. Steve
The car is only on the road from May for 6 months went on one of those Ducati thingies and the roads were very muddy - could have done with a trial bike
Poop, I didn't even think. If it was bit warmer (or i was better prepared) I would haver headed to Bakewell. I'll give you a shout next time. It's my direction of choice when heading out for a few hours
Met up with a group of friends to touch base before my Italian trip, as Yorkshire was central for everyone, Squires Cafe was chosen for the rendevous. I also met @Exige who acted as sherpa for a pootle to Sherburn avoiding potholes and cow s**t. As a bonus, I had a guided tour around the 'York Ducati Museum' a.k.a. Stu's house. Very impressive bike collection and not at all jealous.
The bike, not you. I never see a 1098R from the rear usually, as I'm the one riding it. They still look a cracking bike.
