  2. So i've found a half tidy one, at last, also one at a realistic price!

    Its got a full termi system, how valuable are they? Its got the correct ecu etc. I guess its worth having? I can't find any before and after dyno curves? I'm guessing it takes it to about 128bhp at the wheel? what should go with it?
     
  3. Dont know the value of Termi system but it will be an improvement over the standard system in all respects. So far as I'm aware power output was around 125 to 130 anyway, remember any gains in excess of that will be at top end and you are unlikely ever to notice them. Think about the most commonly used rev range - probably 4-8k or there abouts and worry more about the rideability in this area.
    So far as I know they only had the normal books and keys with them, no cover, stand or plaque. If it's a fair price buy it and enjoy it. :upyeah:
     
  4. They have a very heavy crank in them.
     
  5. When I say a sensible price, its not up at 10K like the dreamers/speculators on ebay. I'd expect it to make more poke from 4000rpm onwards?

Certainly starts to develop torque and power from 4k but remember pretty much without exception all engines develop max power at near to max revs, how much time and how often do you ride at max revs? Also it is torque which gives you that boot up the arse feeling of acceleration when you open the throttle. It shiuld be possible to find a copy of power and torque curves to see where they are strongest.
     
  7. I think the full de cat system, air filter and performance ecu was around £2300 new.
    Seen em for around £1000 mark used. Not manufactured anymore.
