Well, I knew there is a possibility the femur wouldn't be aligned perfectly, as the bone was so badly broken. Tbh its noticeable because the leg has wasted down quite a bit, and secondly because I know where the break is. In reality you'd probably be hard pushed to see it unless it was pointed out, and it should still work ok..

It's very early days yet, only two months..

You know and I know that what other folks won't notice, you can see as clear as day.
For instance, the metacarpal of my right thumb looks like braided spaghetti in an x-ray, and externally I can see how bad the break it is. When I have pointed it out to other people, they shrug.

Early days, think positive. The things I was told I may never do again after my bad off have not come to pass.

Thanks Loz, that's the plan. I'm not the most confident person in the world when it comes to my appearance, but I'm still trying to keep positive. Working today, then going swimming this evening... gotta try to keep busy.

I just ordered this new Carbon Fibre Helmet made by Kaos for $300.00 excellent price for a really light helmet, fits real nice & it comes with 2 visors (clear & smoked)
I was at my local bike place and the Rep from Kaos was there...good timing!

 

what started as a very pleasant day has rapidly gone down hill

Booked tickets to see the Stereophonics again.......

I've seen them quite a few times, from Cardiff to Newcastle and most places in between, my favourite was an intimate gig in the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool a few years ago, small, crowded and rocking.

So when they anounced a small venue tour again I was over the moon......
