Good luck with the recovery. I stacked it a while back, and went through similiar thoughts. Take time with the injuries and let them heal properly. I know from experience that it always takes longer than you wish/think. Take care
As much as id like to say something really manly...no. Flu liner unravelled and went through "the middle bit" the rest of it was what the surgeons did so they could get access to re-attach all the nerves, tendons etc etc...they call it a "full house" when you go through everything...
Horrible to read that a careless driver nearly killed you. Hope you make a good recovery and find another hobby to replace the bike. No regrets, consider yourself lucky!
