  9. And when we got there they gave us a sound thrashing with the end of their belt, just like our Dad did when we got home again for tea....a piece of mouldy cheese on a slice of cardboard and we had to sit int middle of t'road to do our homework...

  14. Looking at todays forecast we may get hammered again, central/northern pennines! I may need to dig EL torro out! I bought some of them snow socks for my car but I keep hitting the brake/accelerator and clutch at the same time with them on my feet. How are you supposed to drive with them on!!!!

  16. This morning still had a good cover,now it is raining heavily. I'm sort of glad it's going but whilst it was here it was nice walking the dog and not having to hose her down. This evening it was very muddy out there.

  18. Got loads of snow suddenly. Started approx 6pm and still coming down thick and fast. Downside is my rugby off tomorrow, and lads' rugby off Sunday; upside is we go sledding as soon as we get our arses out of bed :biggrin:
