So, Jerez, What Do We Think?

  1. What odds that Lorenzo will actually do anything..nah.
Didn't he come 3rd last year though?
    Will Crutchlow stay on?
Will Marquez stay on and bore us all into an early siesta?
Will Dovi help his contract negotiations?
Will Rossi manage to avoid Marauding Marquez?
Will the resurfaced track make a difference?
    What are the odds?
    What do you think?

  2. After the debacle of Argentina, I’ll be concentrating on Moto 3 and Moto 2. Andy

  3. I wish I was there

  4. Everything always gets turned on its head once the series comes back to Europe. We spoke with a few of the BSB boys recently and they said the new surface made a big difference and that the track was noticeably quicker. The extra grip should suit Lorenzo so theres a good chance he'll wake up I reckon?

  5. What we all need as fans is a repeat race like the first one of the season as that was bl@@dy
    fantastic:)

  6. Hmmm  Given the history of that GP..........

    I fancy...............Vinales

Actually, I just can't see past Marquez, even given it's not one of his hunting grounds.

  7. The spanish riders always go well at their home circuits:upyeah:

  8. Well, Dorna have managed to get the grid about 80% Spanish :) Not surprising they get the odd result. :grinning:

  9. I'd really, really like to see that happen but pessimism in the bottom of my stomach says otherwise. That and my head saying he's been an abject failure on the Duc. However I might go mad and put £10 each way on him. If I can work out how to do it online

  10. I did put it on him each way as I still don't think there's a real chance of him getting really serious.

    33/1.

Personally I think they're being optimistic...
    and so am I.

  11. I think Lorenzo is busy applying for membership of the Suzuki owners club.............

  12. We were told on good authority yesterday evening that he was
Off to Suzuki and ....Ianone might be on his way back!

  13. Ianone and Lorenzo as team mates......that would be good for a laugh:laughing:

  14. Even if he nick's a 3rd, at those odds you' d do quite nicely... not a terrble bet...

  15. Here's a cat in the hat comment, what about rins over the race distance?

  16. 4th on the grid. He did well. He's in with a podium chance.

  17. What a cock up. They were looking good for 2nd n 3rd. Lorenzo went well but needed to get out of Dovi's way.
They could have collected a lot of points. And I could have collected on my bet. Instead, nothing.

Basically the team principles need to look at themselves and ask if they are running the two riders properly.

I don't know, did the send out Mapping 8 or 7 or whatever it was? If not they should have done.

The team should never have got into that situation. All 3 riders were competing and trying to make the most of an opportunity.
    Result catastrophe.

The team managers should be blaming themselves and telling Lorenzo he rode very well. But he has two choices.

    1. He obeys team orders and they should make orders clear.
    2. He goes. Now. Not at the end of the season.

The situation has just moved the team backwards and Honda are laughing all the way home.

  18. So gutted for Ducati and especially Dovi. I guess it makes for an exciting weekends racing! Lorenzo was looking good but it's inevitable that the soft front is going to drop off even with his silky smooth style and Dovi is going to come through. Poor Pedrosa went into orbit again. Marquez's sideways moment through the gravel on the corner was ridiculous.
