Desmo prices are fucked now, aren’t they? 6 weeks ago we were talking about 45k being the max price for a D16.
Everything over 5 years old, Ducati wise seems to be fucked now. Some bikes are being advertised at prices that would make Sheffield blush. Normality will come crashing in at some point.
Problem is, the more people advertise bikes at these prices, the more normalised they become, and once they become normalised in peoples minds there will be no telling them otherwise. That bike, for example, is ace. But it’s a 45k bike. They likely haven’t even given that for it. They’ve just looked at what all the other chancers are asking and thought ‘fuck it, why not’. But if you were to call them and offer 45, YOU’D be treated as if YOU were wrong and knew nothing.
I did indeed. You have a great memory RX. It was a case of needs must at the time. Worse than that, according to current trends, if I’d have hung on to my Desmosedici for another 5 months I could have got at least £30k more for it. With that extra money I could have bought all kinds of things to sell before they suddenly double in value.
