  1. HI, just picked up my first Ducati, a 57 reg 749 the last bike I owned was a Suzuki TL1000s and that was 7 years ago I absolutely love the 749 but I’m looking for an after market muffler just want a bit more thump! Any recommendations?

  2. Hello. Enjoy the bike :)

  3. Welcome dude :):upyeah:you mean noise I guess - termi half system or full are the two obvious options...

  4. Muffler? Are you a septic? Welcome anyway Dave.

  5. Yeah, I’ve seen a few termi “mufflers’’ end cans, exhausts! For sale I just want to know if I can just take mine off and swap it or are the pipes different diameters?

  6. You will need a half system with ECU or a re flash of your own ECU.
The end can is replaced and the front cylinder pipe which carries a CAT - the CAT for the rear short pipe is in the original end can.

A full system will look nicer but more expensive (it will also have a different ECU) - there are differences between earlier grey swing arm exhausts to your later type.

  7. wow.......not a simple swap then! Has anybody had any experience with the spark evo ii, would this be a simple swap?
