Always sad to hear of such a loss to our motorcycling comunity, sincere condolences to his family and friends.
A sad day when any motorcyclist dies, high profile or otherwise. RIP Mr Ash. I have no intention of tweaking your post 749sDub. Many may only know him by a photo so its a good thing you posted one up
A tragic loss for so many tens of thousands of people around the globe, people whose lives were enriched by reading Kevin's thoughts on our common pursuit, but however sad we are, it ain't about us right now, but those closest to him, his wife and three daughters are for whom we should reserve our real dismay. May he rest in peace and may the four Ash girls find the strength with family and close friends to get through the very dark days that lie ahead for them. Oremus
Very very sad news, fantastic journalist, loved his articles and website . The industry will be poorer without you R.I.P
What I liked about Kev was his unbridled enthusiasm for motorcycling, which always came through in his writing. Thought are with his family. RIP

What sad news. He was a great writer and wasn't worried about ruffling feathers and speak his mind. He will be missed. Makes you realise how vulnerable we all are. Ride safe.
Ash, Cathcart and Neeves....and then there was two. Sincere condolences to the Ash family. Great journo, righteous rider/tester, husband and Dad. Will be missed terribly by all. MJW61 aka Marty.
Very sad news indeed.....a great loss to the Uk (Worldwide) biking community - my thoughts go out to his wife, children and family. RIP Kevin. Kevin Ash: British motorcycle writer killed in accident in front of fellow journalists trying out BMW motorcycle at press launch | Mail Online
Yes, very very sad. I liked his sort of rear world tests, not all that "you can go all day on the back wheel" bravado stuff that many journos seem to employ.
