749 Nero Wanted

Is there a 749 Nero? I thought it was only 999 that came as a Nero ?

 

There was a 999 Nero and a 749 dark, the 749 dark was slightly cheaper than other base 749 models new, I nearly bought one. Looking at prices on flea bay I would think a 749S would be a good buy ?

 

We’re the 999 Nero’s Ducati UK spray jobs to get rid of stock and not ‘Factory’ ?

That’s the one to have, as I thought Ducati UK, so not factory, 749’s were bargain basement darks as mentioned earlier...

That's easily 10k's worth of bike. That's what I'd be buying if I didn't already have!

Facelift 999 nero was factory, pretty sure the S and 749 and S were too.
What exhaust is on the 999 noobie put link up?

Yeah, I saw that in Jems today. Can't say I had much of a look at it though.

 

Got some brochures from 05 and 06. I’ll see what’s listed.

 

They were available in US as well and there's nothing special about them, just a black 999.

 

Bit of a mongrel but nice price and not too far away.
