He won’t sell it unless he gets what he think it’s worth. I’ve spoken to him quite a few times and his estimation is- let’s say- quite high. You may also recall that this was the chap I spoke to last June (I mentioned it on this thread) who refused to take the bike out of his van to even take pictures that were more recent than the 3 year old/ low res/ taken from a distance pics in the advert. On top of that, a friend of mine knows him, and he says he’s far from looked after it during his ownership, but still wants top money. 18k is his lowest now I think. Seems cheap, isn’t. Shame. I’d love to own it. One to avoid at any price, I’d say, for more than one reason.
I’m pretty sure they can’t force him to sell it though mate. Plenty of people have done so before, I’d wager.
I agree, but if it's an absolute bargain, you caould always go down the legal route. I've heard this talked about, but never actioned tbh.
It’s only a bargain if it is what he says it is. I’m totally in agreement, but I’m pretty sure most people wouldnt bother. He’ll just make something up and then go radio silent, I reckon.
Hi Exige. I’m in the market for a 1199r too, what is the difference between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 bikes? Wha Is there something you need to tell us ? Lol
Not at all just know the 2nd Gen are betterer - higher spec Engine Internals and latest Electronics - but others will know better
Strangely, this listing appears to give the exact address of the bike... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-M...714634?hash=item23a053feca:g:zlwAAOSwgARa8Lk2
Tbh if I was unfortunate enough to own one of those older multis I would print my address in the hopes that someone would nick it !!
Wow, I would sell mine for that price, and mines only got 8k miles, and I also have the correct grey seat on mine.
