Arrived in the US : 2 days for work. 1st time in Denver, seems nice enough, although caught in traffic because there was a rounders game on.. I look forward to playing some cliche bingo: 'leaning in' seems to be the thing to do.. I flew BA, so standard archaic 747 with a smaller screen on their entertainment system than on my phone: kind of glad now or i would have missed views like this..
I bought 2 of these https://www.acebikes.com/en/transport-service/steadystand-fixed/ because it’s adjustable for wheel diameter (up to 19”), will take a variety of tyre widths (up to 130mm) and bolts through a standard trailer channel (remembering to back it with an oversize piece of plate because trailer channel metal is very thin). I should also have said that there are a variety of models available from other manufacturers and cheaper which I have no experience of but didn’t choose for a very good reason. My trailer lives outside all year round and the acebike chock hasn’t rusted or seized since fitting 3 or 4 years ago. Andy

I had a weird meeting today with a lady business owner who emailed me at 7.30am asking if I minded if she could dress casually for the meeting. I said casual was fine with me. I have to say I was completely taken by surprise by her outfit when I got to her office.........I wish I could have taken a pic but I couldn’t/daren’t. She was wearing a lacy (partially see through) vest, the type with shoulders showing if you know what I mean AND (here comes the best bit)............a pair of camo cami knickers!! They were very short and very tight and were firmly wedged up her chuff. Which is a fantastic look for a slim 25yo but not such a great look for a 55yo! At some point she bent over (and I can’t remember why) and I could tell she uses a sun bed as the creases at the top of her legs/bottom of her arse were white...........listen if I have to have that vision then so will you lot Bizarre, bizarre, bizarre! This evening I’ve reached the 600 mile mark on my new Scrambler in readiness for its first service on Saturday thanks to a ride out with @bettes to Squires for a quick coffee
