Picked this up last Saturday. There was someone else looking at it and the Vitpilen. Dealers only receive one of each...if they are lucky. Fortunately I was lucky enough to get my name on it ahead of time. Today I will finally have time to go for a ride.
Certainly unusual Faith, I thought they had used a chain saw engine http://www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com/vitpilen/
This is the Svartpilen 401. Color and a few other differences from the Vit. I had stopped in at the nearest KTM, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Suzuki, etc... dealership a few weeks ago, asked questions and commented that I didn't want to get a first production year bike. Then they said it had the same engine as the Duke 390. Oh!!! Enough said. I left it at that but told my husband about it later. Without my knowing, he called them and put my name on it. I was speechless and cried when I found out. Two things that don't happen very often. The shop owner said it was a big hit when it arrived last week. No one has seen anything like it.
Can't disagree with that although he loves cool things with spark plugs. If it doesn't have a spark plug he's not interested (explains the thick layer of dust on his Cross Country ski's).
He doesn't mind once in a while. We'll just walk around, usually don't buy anything except dinner. It's been at least 5 years since our last visit. Sometimes we just go to IKEA across the street from MOA. That's a few hours of our time, longer if you stay for some Swedish Meatballs. Hmmm, 5 years since we've been there too.
haha https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...een-a-lie-sweden-admits-meatballs-are-turkish My ex inlaws used to live in Eagan before moving to Rapid City and they seemed to spend their life in that mall.
Who knew Turkey is responsible for Swedish meatballs and drinking coffee daily!? Never expected to hear that. I'll have to ask my Mom if my grandmother/dad's mom made them. She immigrated from Sweden. My mom has always made cabbage rolls too. My sister loves MOA. Lots of people also love Cabela's. I go there for specific things otherwise going there makes me nauseous. Commercialism overload.
