Monster S4r - 2004

  1. Hi all,
    I have a S4R (2004) with standard exhaust. Is it illegal to remove the bulbous, udder thing from the exhaust and replace with straight through pipes, provided the silencers remain road legal?

  2. You're better off de-coring the original silencers and leaving the Cat alone.
    Meaty sound cheap fix.

  3. I have 2004 s4r with straight through Termis fitted and no problems at all. Top use of the word udder by the way, describes it perfectly.

  5. Hi all,
    Has anyone with S4R fitted a Spark under-seat carbon exhaust with Spark headers as well? Seen them on ebay from Mototopgun for about £830 including postage. If so what's the quality like and does the link pipe foul the footrests on the right side as per the standard pipes?
