I only have pictures of the bike so far, it's being delivered to Nelly @ Cornerspeed at the end of the week for him to carry out the Brembo recall before I pick it up (thanks as ever for your assistance @nelly )...
Yes, Ti System with road legal Ti cans with carbon end caps only - no race exhaust with this model...
Probably the optional louder ones were fitted which added to your fab deal *Edit - thought your bike had Akropovic (can't spell that word) fitted due to the stickers on the rims
It does, a full Akrapovic system. The stuff in the box looks to be a standard system, there's also a servo motor and plastic exhaust cover. I'm wondering if I've been given these by mistake now.
The standard system was an Akrapovic Ti I think so strange - they could be the standard road legal end cans and you have louder ones fitted which would have been optional - don't understand the Termi bags though
Letter? Was that before fax's and after pigeons? Phone the shop, it will be quicker Are the deffo Pani End Cans?
Are they Termi? Perhaps the previous owner had a Gen 1 Pani and they are off that? Hopefully they are the standard Akro's though and you have performance ones fitted too!
@Robarano have a read here - especially post #10 http://ducatiforum.com/ducati-1199/25768-2015-panigale-r-exhaust.html
These cans in no way belong with your r, they are standard 899/1199 cans. Akras first appeared in the Panigale range on the sl mk 1 and that system had stainless stubby headers (the small bit that bolts to the heads) and then ti pipework from then on, later to be replaced with full ti.When the 1299 and 2nd gen r appeared Ducati switched from Termi to Akra, the 2nd gen r comes standard with Akra end cans with cats in and ti headers. They did not come with the race cans as standard, the easiest way to tell is if they have removable baffles like the one in the pic.
Great purchase. Obviously needs running in so I will be sure to put a few miles on it for you when i visit nelly this week.
