British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. So what you're saying is, kill all vegans?

You used a four-letter word there in a most inappropriate fashion. Can you guess what it was?

Hint: it begins with the letter 'f'.

  2. Duke his opinion as are all opinions, are worth listening too, even yours, sometimes:D

But as with most of your posts you launch in with see see see, so people do see and look. Then most will find you put in part of articles, non disclosure of the facts behind the opinion and why it may be relevant. You must go through every link or item you post and deliberatley remove most of the fact.

On the first link, the man spent almost since a teen , in politics and mostly working within the eu, that was relevent but you chose to omit it

the second one as dam showed, you cut of parts of the statement which were relevant to which I showed later, no one wins in a tariff war (except the countries exchequer) so it is better we agree a deal on 0% tariffs.

The eu project will not allow that as then other members would want to leave knowing they can get 0% goods movement without paying a yearly fee.

All along the eu project has not sought to promote a good deal for both sides, it can't, it's own rules and future forbid it. Something that was recognised by the second article but again manipulated for your own purpose

Surely after all this time duke, even more in a subject where you know most of your facts are not facts at all and will be checked up on, puzzled why you keep doing it?

And of interest, when ever you start with the "xenophobic, racist, brextards etc" claims again, that's your "tell" that you have been telling porkies again and been caught out

  6. The eu have accepted we are leaving, away from prying eyes. Often the best source to see what the eu is upto is to look at their own information, this is their own newsroom should any seek it https://europa.eu/newsroom/home_en

One of the articles http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-18-3706_en.htm launched today on "europe day" apparently that is a thing, was that the eu are asking it's people what they want from the eu and where they want the eu to go (many Brits can help them with the last part:D)

Apparently europeans of all walks of life can reply on a link within the article and it then says

the consultation will run until the Sibiu summit on 9 May 2019. The Commission will present an interim report to Member States on the White Paper process at the December 2018 European Council. A final report will then be presented at the first EU27 Summit in Sibiu, Romania, on 9 May 2019, just a few weeks ahead of the European elections.

Personally I doubt they can move that quick to honestly collate all the replies between as both dates are the same :D but it does make you wonder why they do not ask the people more rather than try and snuff out democratic elections which are in effect, peoples opinions .

  7. here, whats this all about? is top gear or the pub landlord running the MOD now
UK announces £2.5bn for nuclear submarine programme. One of the new vessels is called ‘Agincourt.’ MoD spokesperson tells me this name is definitely unrelated to two fingers & the French.

  8. Fin, the countries doing fine, brexit will happen, we will be just dandy. Don't you worry your sweet cherub red glowing cheeks about it :D

I did notice two things over the weekend though fin and would value your point of view? Chakrabati raised her head and said jezza's best mate Livingstone should be kicked out of the labour party at the same time the bloke who lost to ed milliband, his brother, also popped his head above the parapet on brexit, encouraging the mad gnome that is clegg to start a clogg dance again with his tin hat on.

Do you think David Milliband is using Brexit to try and introduce himself back into British politics and be considered as the new leader of labour as the socialist experiment that is Corbyn, has failed and is going nowhere?

  9. i try not to think too much on labour atoll. life's to short.
uk party's target majority's, london alone has nearly twice the amount of seats than us, policies are targeted to appease you lot not my lot. simples.
all yer posturing on brexit aint gonna cut it i am afraid. there's never been any doubt in my mind in the last two years what was meant by "taking back control" and who they where intending on taking back control from. you will remember May and co, constantly using the word separatist and terrorist in the same sentence, uh huh. the out vote has just intensified the need to do it sooner rather than later. you have nothing to sell or underwrite yer debt should Westminster lose its cash cow.
    tick tock. :upyeah:

  10. Well that's just plain silly, London has is 1,572 km² and has 8.8 million people in that small space, Scotland has 80,077 km² but only 5.3 million people. Even Diane Abbott could work out why London has more Mp's. As to not appeasing your lot, devolved government and indi vote would suggest you are incorrect

To be fair your have a very peculiar mind :D

I think in the same way many with common sense shouted at Merkel on the open doors to the migrants, in the same way they did to blair over europeans and opening our doors, they didn't listen and by the time they did, there was massive unrest caused by them, in their countries and organisations.

This is how the brexit negotiations have gone, most who genuinely with common sense and voted to leave knew the eu would play silly buggers for 2 years and shouted at our own politicians to go to wto straight away, they didn't listen and are now regretting it.

Fin They have taken the sugar out of Iron brew now, you have nothing left to offer :D

  15. Much in the same way as Germany took ages to re-select Merkel but ended up with her seriously damaged from being the powerhouse she as, the Italian elections that gave no majority government, did give some parties a substantial votes and two of those are now seeking to form a coalition government.

If you believe RT, and based on a leaked memo which has been confirmed as a draft but not final document from the 5 star party, The under negotiation and possible coalition government has discussed, Lift sanctions against Russia (against eu dictat), enforce first safe country asylum rules, Will remain in Nato, looking at leaving the euro etc so moving away from the central demands of the eu

    https://www.rt.com/news/426995-italy-coalition-anti-russia-sanctions/

This is without the forthcoming junkers wish for the united states of europe to replace the unites states as a world super power, whilst pretending the U.S.'s sanctions against Iran won't be a concern for the eu.

again it shows our discussions in europe are not the biggest worry the eu has due to the way the eu runs itself.
