  3. Steve -N...... Does strada engine protecter bolt straight on or is there any mods to do to fit?

Looks well with it and it serves a good function.

  4. Oh it's completely function over looks for me. Protection for when I drop it, take it off paved roads, against tank slappers, dehydration and starvation. And some more comfort with some voice telling me where to go, way better foot-pegs, a comfy racing sofa and proper power delivery. OK, the tail tidy is just for looks, but.. really.. what is that stock thing doing back there?

The engine protector almost bolts straight on, the strada and motard basically are the same bike. 3 motard screws are replaced by some special strada screws. I've learned ordering every single part separately saves 50% over ordering the complete accessory at your local Ducati dealer (at least in the Netherlands through oemducati.com ). This is the complete parts list:

    32974 SCREW
    32975 PLATE RIGHT
    537 QUICK FASTENING M5
    190034 GUARD, ENGINE
    190035 PLATE LEFT

  7. noticed a bit of a whine from the front end last couple of rides, up on the stand, loads of play in the front wheel and a nasty rumble when spining the wheel.

this is the front RHS bearing, LHS was ok, strangely nuff (26K miles)

all fixed, nice and smooth now, (both sides replaced) not been out for a run yet, be interesting to see if i notice a difference
