they sure are great dogs,but real knuckleheads. it ie my second one all ready,my first bull terrier was the brindle one and past away at the age of 13. never had thought that the loss of a pet could hurt so much. henk!!!
I know . My Daschshound was 13 little dog but feisty !! Was my shadow. I have people I'm fond of but the most painful time for me was loosing my dog. I was a wreck. I got " it's only a dog !!" But we went everywhere together . when I was upset she was at my side. When I was ill she was there. This sounds terrible but I was more upset about my dog then some humans. since I did a bit of kennel maiding years back I loved looking after the dogs. My ex wouldn't let me have another dog as he is terrified of them. He was into cats so in the end I got him a Bombay ( big black Burmese panther looking cats) I don't dislike any animals really but don't feel the same about cats as I do dogs. I would love another dog but only when I feel I'm settled. not sure about leaving one while I'm at work Also I do nip away odd weekends. id kill to have another dog .. But only if I ever found someone who would put up with me and liked dogs. My lifestyle at the moment is not fair on a dog with just me on my own. The dogs I've thought about over the years would depend on how much space I had . Bigger dogs it would be a curly coated retriever , or English Bull is on my list ( white ones ). Small dog would be another Daschshound or French Bulldog. Life's not complete without a dog for me
Thrown out after Christmas by her previous owners. She was found wandering around Runcorn on Jan 3 and taken to the RSPCA dogs' home. We saw her on 4 Jan and adopted her. She'd doubled in size within 3 weeks and is currently gaining about 1/4kg per day.... !
