hi guys. Have a go pro and of to TT next week what mounts work on the Panny ? And where do you mount your cameras ?
Mounted mine off the handlebar weight when a group of us went to Spain. Worked really well, engine sound was awesome, picture was spot on. Did take a hit from a stone though
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/112968506198 These are brilliant, had one for my 1199 and got one on my 1098R... Rock steady and fits in minutes
I have a similar camera too and am reluctant to stick it to my lid or fairings. I also have a smoked screen so no good on the tank either. What about a chest harness Matthew? Think my mates is mount is fastened to the fuel tank aperture using the 3 screws. You got any footage to share Andy800? Be interesting, never seen a camera mounted there before. There is a big hole in the action cam market for bike specific variants at the moment. Need something small and aerodynamic with 1080 and a chunky remote. The Sena tube looked ok but discontinued.
I find chest mounts sit too low. You get about 1/3 tank, 1/3 clocks and 1/3 sky. I mount on the bike (forward of the speedo for obvious reasons). Best footage is chin mounted on the helmet. Nice and smooth on the head, when compared to bike mounted.
+1. totally solid, great position so easy to on/off and protected. just a bit of sticky on the speedo! But shame its going to take a few days to deliver.
Sorry buddy @timberwolf , didn't get the notification on this thread.... I can post a still shot. Vids are too big to post. Sorry about the crack on the screen Sound is phenomenal, no wind just VTWIN rumble @Stu848 and @chizel can verify the quality I don't think I'd like it on helmet or chest, bike mount is solid, didn't want to stick on fairing and as its on the bar end its easy to switch on and off Happy to send a couple of files if you PM me your number
Have a look at this, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Delkin-D...213596&hash=item2cc785dc71:g:VRMAAOSwG-1Z1p8N I use one on my Diavel screen with no issues. Theres no way its falling off, tested to 150mph according to the bumph. You can always tether it anyways so if it does actually come loose you don't lose your kit. Stuart
